Making an image

As an image maker, I aim to create compositions where elements, objects, shapes, people, ... whether within or beyond the frame, are carefully juxtaposed. This contrast invites the viewer
to see beyond the image.

Whether it's a photograph taken with a digital or analog camera, or a collage meticulously crafted from existing materials through an intensive cut-and paste process, each piece is an invitation for interpretation and reflection.

I approach image-making in a conceptual way.

Lost in the process of composing new images from old ones, cutting and pasting with an open mind, never knowing where it will end.
